Dan Quinn is a currently working towards a Master's degree in performance at Roosevelt University. His undergrad was in music education at Wheaton College. As a trombone virtuoso with a teaching background, his interview was wonderfully insightful and articulate.
-Practices 3-4 hours per day
-Practices in the morning
-Takes frequent short breaks, drinks lots of water
-Focuses on creating best sound from the start of every note
-Tailors fundamental exercises to current repertoire
